Our L-801H(L) LED Heliport Rotating Beacon meets L-801H specifications. These medium intensity beacons are for night operation as identification and location markers for heliports.
Features
• 80% reduction in power consumption over metal halide lamps
• LEDs turn on instantly at full brightness, no warm up required
• Less light pollution, defined light beam has less light “wash”
• Patented belt-drive system eliminates the lubrication required by conventional gear-drive beacons (U.S. Pat. 5,339,224)
• 25,000 minimum effective candelas from +3° to +7°
• 50,000 hour typical lamp life (12 years)
• Three LED lamps: white, aviation green, amber
• All moving parts are permanently lubricated
• Lamps preset 5° above horizontal, adjustable
• 12 RPM rotation, 36 flashes/minute
• Weatherproof steel cabinet, powder coated international orange
• Optional stainless steel cabinet and bearings for highly corrosive environments
• Class I temperature range: -22 to +131°F (-30 to +55°C)
• Class II temperature range: -67 to +131°F (-55 to +55°C)
• Tested to wind velocities of 100 mph (160.9 kph)
• Optional photocell and/or tell-tale relay
• Mountable on an optional tipdown pole
• Power consumption L-801H(L): Class I: 116W; Class II: 516W

L801/HEL Dim Option
• Perfect for hospitals located in densely populated neighborhoods where full power creates problems with light pollution
• 2 easily accessible dimmer dials located inside cabinet: one for white, one for green/amber
• Note: Beacon is not FAA certified with this option
